The Patient Manager is a piece of Probe that serves to track the medical aspects of a patient's chart (see screenshot below). Notes, prescriptions, charts and other pieces of information concerning the patient's medical history are stored here.
Please note that patient records stored here are not automatically updated when patient records are created under the Patients list. Therefore, please ensure that, when creating or deleting records in either list, both lists are kept current.
To bring up one of the module's functions, select the patient's name from the list and click on the corresponding button on the right. Each module is described separately in the remainder of the document.
To add a patient to the list, click
on the toolbar, then enter the patient's name into the window. If the patient is already in the Patients list, then a link will be created to that patient's file. Otherwise, the patient will have only chart information associated with him/her, not personal information (i.e. address, insurance, etc.) or ledger information. To add personal and financial information about a new, unlisted patient, enter them into the Patients list. (See: Adding a Patient)
To remove a patient's entry, hilite their entry in the list and click
in the toolbar. Please note that deleting a patient from the Chart Manager list does not remove their entry in the Patients list. To remove their personal information from the list for good, delete the patient under the Patient Information list as well. (See: Deleting a Patient)

Use this button to automatically create entries in the Chart Manager for all patients currently listed in the Patients window. Please note that this feature will only add records to the Chart Manager patient list; it will not modify or delete any records already present in the list. |

This button will refresh the list of patients in the Chart Manager window so as to display the most current state of the list. |

Use this button to display the ledger record of the selected patient in the Chart Manager list. |
To assign notes to a patient's data, choose the Notes button in the Patient Manager window.
To add a prescription into the patient's file, click on the RX Prescription button in the right-hand portion of the Patient Manager window. Doing so will bring up a record of the selected patient's prescription history.
To access a patient's odontograms or enter a new one, click the Odontogram button in the Patient Manager window. This will bring up the following window.
Choosing Periodontal from the Patient Manager window will open the Periodontal Record window and display the Periodontal Chart menu in the menu bar.
The Image Module is the portion of the program that stores and accesses all the images present in a patient's file.
The Treatment Plan will access the patient's ongoing treatment and long-term records.
To input the patient's history into their chart, click on this button.
Select a patient's name from the list and click here to open up the patient's information file.
The patient's recall information controls the automatic notification of the patient when it is time for another appointment.
