How Do I...?

This is the patient recall window.

Scrn: Recall Entry

This will allow the program to automatically create appointments for certain patients after a length of time. It is possible to have the program track any patients who are due for a check up and suggest a date for their next visit.

Information about the selected patient will appear in the upper portion of the window. The patient's number will appear in the box in the left-hand center portion of the window.

SETTING THE APPOINTMENT

Under Interval, a time period after which the patient will be returning can be set. In this example, setting the interval to six months will create an appointment six months from the patient's last visit. The Units option controls how many units are required for the patient's next appointment.

The Date field displays the dates of the patient's last and next (suggested) appointments. The date entered into the Call field will notify staff to call a patient to set up an appointment on that date. Choosing Booked will confirm that an appointment has been entered. Check this box if an appointment has been set.

Patient recall information can be presented in a list view to keep track of all patients at a glance and determine the time of their next appointment. For more information about this, see Recall under Administration » Planned Treatment.

BUTTON DESCRIPTIONS

ICON FUNCTION
This button, located next to the Family field, will display a list of ledgers. From this list, you can select a ledger and display its members in the Family field.

It follows that the field labeled Family displays a list of all patients associated with the selected ledger.

Click on this button to bring up the patient's personal information window.
This button will open the Patients window, as seen when selected from the MIRROR menu.
This button will show the Patient Recall List window. This presents a summarizing list of all patients to be recalled, including the dates of their appointments.

To show a recall record, double-click on the record in the list

By clicking of the Rebuild button, the list can be updated or sorted. It is possible to sort the list by name, date of last visit, date of next visit or date to call the patient.

This will show the patient's insurance information.
