Scanning of virtually any document is made possible with the Kurzweil 3000 optical character recognition (OCR). Scanned documents and other classroom curriculum are faithfully reproduced on screen -- retaining text and pictures in their original format and color.
Dual highlighting of words in context as they are read aloud helps the student process words and concepts more easily. Recognizing that everyone learns differently, Kurzweil 3000 lets you customize how much text is highlighted and the speed at which words are spoken.

Spell checking and word prediction aid writing of class or homework. Thanks to Kurzweil 3000, students can now work independently for longer periods of time.
