Now, set up the employee's salary by clicking on the Salary button in the Employee Information window (see screenshot below).
Click on the
button and enter the wage information. First, specify whether the salary is hourly or a fixed amount per payment. Enter the employee's pay per hour or pay per period into the appropriate field. Do this for both normal and overtime work.
Under Deductions enter the amounts to be automatically entered into the deduction fields when a wage entry is made. Check the Vacation box to indicate that the employee will receive 4% on top of their regular salary as vacation pay. The start date and finish dates should be entered as well. Also, type any notes into the field on the bottom.
This contains information pertaining to the Staff menu item.
Contains information about the dentists that work at the site. This is where both background information and billing totals are kept.
Keeps track of all other employees at the site. Also, this function keeps track of employee hours, salary and wage information.
Use this option in the Employee Information window to enter a wage for an employee. The entry will be automatically made out and recorded.
