The Dental Labs menu item will open up the editor in which information about dental laboratories is entered (see screenshot below). All dental labs whose services are used should be entered into this module for future reference. To scroll through the list, click the Previous or Next buttons on the toolbar.
To start a new entry, click of the
button. To edit the current record, click on the
button.
The data entry for this module is identical to that of most address books or Rolodex programs. First, enter the name and address of the laboratory. Next, enter the city and province or state that it is situated in, then enter the lab's postal code and phone number(s).
Finally, a note about this particular lab can be entered into the bottom field.
When you are finished, click on the
button in the toolbar to save your changes. Now, any labs you added or changed will appear in the list of laboratories presented when entering a laboratory prescription. (For more information about entering a laboratory prescription, see Lab out, Lab in... or Reports menu items under this menu.)
