LEDGERS

How Do I...?

NEW | ADD TO EXISTING | DISASSOCIATE | EDIT | TRANSACTIONS

Upon clicking on the Ledger button, a list of ledgers assigned to the current patient appears (see screenshot below). A ledger is an account opened by a patient with the office.

Scrn: Ledger List

Note that more than one ledger can be assigned to each patient. This can be for use with multiple dentists or guarantors and such. Any transactions with the office will be listed in a patient's ledger card. The amount on funds owed by or credited to a patient are managed within ledger cards.

Ledgers can be further managed by using the Accounts Receivable or AR menu item. To obtain more information about this function, see AR under Administration.
