This option will send a letter to a colleague, concerning a certain patient. To use this function, first choose the dentist to address it to, then choose the name of the patient that the letter is about. This window is where it all happens.
When the dentist and patient have been set, choose the letter template from the Letters field. The contents of this template will be sent in the letter.
Set up the destination of the letter under the Output field. Sending it to the printer or the fax will cause the letter to be outputted to an external source; the Screen and Preview options will create a preview on the computer screen.
When all options are set, click on the Print button in the middle of the window to begin output. The program will append the dentist's name and address to the beginning of the letter, followed by "RE: PATIENT" and the patient's name, address, birth date and phone number. The salutation included in this letter is "Dear Dr. (Dentist's Last Name),".

Patient letters are letters that are sent to the site's patients as reminders of appointments, payments and other relevant information. It is possible to create a filter for the purpose of sending letters to only select recipients.
These are form letters. Use them when it is necessary to send the same message to a number of recipients.
Use this feature to export patient information for use in another application, or to print mailing labels.
