Toomas (Tom) Karmo turns his 1996 Toronto computing/physics Honours B.Sc. and 1979 Oxford philosophy D.Phil. to commercially barren, but socially relevant, account by embracing poverty and performing volunteer work in scientific heritage conservation. He privately studies some electronics, some astrophysics of a decidedly elementary (second- or third-year B.Sc.) level, and some general physics of a very decidedly elementary (first- or second-year B.Sc.) level. He has in the past also supplied a predominantly scientific clientele with editorial and technical services.
