JOIN SOUTH AFRICAN WOMEN FOR WOMEN'S FAMILY OF SUPPORTERS We have a distinguished history of community service and celebration of excellence. Our legacy includes public recognition of community leadership, scholarships, the Teacher Mentoring Program and our new health initiative. However, one fact remains indisputable. Nothing would have been possible without our stable and involved supporters. Individuals wishing to become members of the organization may choose from the following four categories: |

INDIVIDUAL
MEMBERSHIP: Any individual may join for a fee of $50.00. The primary goal of this category is to ensure the continuity of the organization’s linkages with its supporters by keeping its members informed of the organization’s activities and developing linkages for new recruits. Members will be invited to functions where networking and community dialogue on South African business issues, political issues and general community issues will be available. Our membership will stimulate these networking initiatives and encourage you to advertise on our website. |
DESIGNATED
MEMBERSHIP: This category is open to Young Professionals up to age of 30; full time students and seniors. Proof of age is a requirement for this category. The annual fee has been significantly reduced to $25.00 |

PRIVILEGES: In addition to the specific privileges listed above, all SAWW members may take advantage of the extensive mailing list for business referrals and other networking opportunities. All members will receive tax receipts for the full amount of the membership fees. The opportunities for you, your business and your community increase with your membership. Please join us. VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: An impressive array of volunteer opportunities exists within SAWW. You may participate as a SAWW board member or as a member of one of the committees. Volunteer commitments can range from 2 - 6 hours per month for committee work. Also available are specific projects requiring more time limited commitments. These include the following: South African Women’s Day Awards Scholarship Fund Teacher Mentoring Membership Drive Public Relations and Media Fund-Raising Events (Social and Cultural) If you would like to become a member and volunteer for any of the above committees, please complete our membership form. In addition, a wonderful book called "Let's Hear Them Speak" by SA veteran activist and author Phyllis Ntantala is available by becoming a member of South African Women for Women for a fee of $50.00.
