The convenient removable memory makes it possible to give your secretary or transcriptionist a full memory stick to be transcribed at a PC using a USB or Floppy Disk Drive Memory Stick Adapter. You can then slide a blank Memory Stick into your recorder and continue your dictation.
Sony offers the WAVPedal Foot Controller and headset as an option so that transcriptionists can type while advancing and rewinding the recording with the footpedal. Recordings from the ICD-BP120 must be converted to 8-bit or 16-bit WAV format using the Digital Voice Editor software before they can be played back using the WAVPedal.
Some unique features of the ICD-MS1 include a playback edit function which makes it easy to correct your dictation on-the-fly, as well as a highly efficient file folder system allowing the creation of up to 340 folders each with its own personalized name.
This allows you to name your folders with titles such as "Dictation", "Action Items", "Op-Notes" or "Briefs", for example.
