Message categories are listed in the Message field. These are pre-defined phrases that consist of frequently used messages. To edit these, see Administration » Configuration » Setup » Messages. First, select one of these messages to send by hiliting it. You can append to the message by entering additional text into the field underneath the Message field.

Next, click on the operator to send the message to under Online Operators. When the message and destination have been set, click on the large button on the bottom right to send the message.

There are two buttons to the right of the Send button. The first one, , deletes all online operators from the list. The next one [btn] will refresh the list of online operators. Use these buttons if the list on online operators appears to be in error.

The recipient will receive the message when their terminal next checks the network for messages. This is the message window as it appears to the recipient (see screenshot below). It can be dismissed by closing the window.
