This will present a breakdown of the number of occurrences of each type of procedure occurring with a given provider (see screenshot below).
Enter the date to begin counting procedures into Start Date and the date to finish in End Date. This will specify that the program is to count only procedures that occur in between those two dates.
Provider will specify a specific provider from which the data will be collected. Leave the provider set to All to display all procedures entered, or choose a provider from the list to show only procedures entered under that provider.
To begin the analysis, click on the Start button.
The program will tally all occurrences of each type of procedure along with the total cost of the procedures listed. The number of procedures performed which fall into a certain category will be listed under that category in the Count row. The cost of all procedures in a certain category will be listed in the Amount row. The cost of all procedures is shown in the Total Amount field.
Click on the Detail button to display a list of every single procedure counted by the function. However, if you wish to view a breakdown of only procedures of a single type, click on the heading that corresponds to the type. For example, to view a list of every single procedure involved in the time period that would be classified as miscellaneous, click on the Misc heading in the list.
This is the window that appears.
The procedure code is listed under Procedure. Under the # heading, the number of occurrences of that procedure is shown. The procedure's description and cost are displayed under the appropriate headings.
This feature keeps track of procedure performed at the site, including costs, bills and analysis.
