This design is a follow-up to the 'Bluenose' Dime. The coin itself is sewn in both regular and rayon DMC threads while the leaf (either copper or autumn-coloured where it touches the coin and a fresh green in the spots where it's covered by the transparent, horizontal band) is sewn in regular DMC threads.
