Model 2.0 Operation.

Keyboard commands.

It is now possible to select port # from the keyboard . F12 activates the command mode. F12 needs to be pushed each time a command is to be issued.

By pushing a number (1 to 8) after F12 the Switch will go to the selected port number

It will not go there however if the selected computer is down.

The Switch skips inactive ports.

During sequential switching with push-button the switch will automatically skip those ports that are inactive.

Any combination of active, inactive and not connected ports is acceptable for the proper operation The switch button operation is now faster and switching can be done any time.

The Switch signals lack of contact with keyboard or computer.

The switch will flash LED if a contact with the computer is established but a contact with the keyboard can not be established. This helps troubleshooting.

The Switch preserves keyboard settings.

The CAPS LOCK, NUM LOCK and SCROLL LOCK indicators are restored when switching back to the particular port. That way the indicators are always in agreement with the settings of the computer.
