Welcome to the Hub of the Dub!
The Dub Poets Collective was formed in 2003 in Toronto, Canada as a creative organization totally dedicated to promoting dub poetry as a vital cultural practice. The DPC is also committed to the enhancement of other spoken word genres.Since our first main festival in June of 2004, the International Dub Poets festival 2004 (IDPF04) we have been working hard to consolidate our organization. We are now in a new location at 805a St. Clair Avenue West here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is our intention to significantly engage the St. Clair West neighbourhood in the business and pleasures of dub and dubbing towards enlightenment and overstanding.
