Tabitha with
Kramer |

After they got used to each other during their first few weeks together, Tabitha and Kramer got along pretty well.

Feeding time usually presented some problems. Tabitha (seen here on the right) ate a little bit slower than Kramer, probably due to the fact that she had some teeth removed a few years ago. Kramer (on the left), once he finished his portion, would then try to push Tabitha away to get some of her food. Beverley or Michael would occasionally have to intervene to make sure each cat got his or her fair share.

Both cats seemed to enjoy huddling together for warmth, especially during the winter, when they had a blanket on the couch.

Kramer (on the left) was usually ambivalent about burrowing under the covers, and seemed happy just to be near his "sister". Tabitha (right) would usually "dig in" until she was barely visible.

Of course, neither one (Kramer in the background, Tabitha in the foreground) of them felt the need to wait around till nightfall to take a nap.
