Presents a list of all accounts and allows them to be modified. This is the list.
If the list of accounts is blank, then hold the option key and click in the list area to enter a new account. Otherwise, select an account from the list and click Modify Account to edit it. This is the window where accounts are edited.
To enter a new account, click on the
button. Otherwise, to modify the existing account, click
.
The account's category and description are entered using the option lists at the top of the window. The account number and name are entered in the field in the middle. Also, the balances of the account can be edited.
Checking the Retained box under Description will indicate that this account is used as a retained earnings account. Current indicates that this is the current account.
The Dr and Cr options control whether this account is treated as a debit or credit account by the program.
When done, click the
button to save any changes. Now, any new entries or modifications will appear in the account list.

Displays a list of all transactions involving this account within a specified date range. A dialog will appear asking for the dates to restrict the reports to. Any transactions occurring in between these two dates will appear in the report. Once the dates are entered, the following window appears, summarizing the transactions occurring.
