It involves planning for human resource needs, recruitment, selection, development, compensation, and evaluation. Personnel Data sources generic data such as salary/benefit scales while Employee Data provides employee-specific information. Certain of these functions (eg Salaries and Benefits, Training, Qualifications, etc) interface to both the Financial (eg Payroll Accounting) and Operations (eg Crew Scheduling) submodules. Reports provides wide-ranging information relating to statutory requirements, compensation and benefits, safety and training.
