Lyne Tremblay! Jazz!

Jazz! Lyne Tremblay sings in a sultry, torchy, euro-jazz style. Her first set is simply elegant in silky gown with 'Wave', 'Peel Me a Grape' and 'Comment Allez-Vous'. Her repertoire is an eclectic mix from Kern, Piaf and Antonio Carlos Jobim. The second is more dramatic and fun in a cabaret theme; bowler hat and vest, with 'All That Jazz', 'La Vie en Rose' and 'The Heel' as her European background pokes fun at a few icons.Then she gets darker in tone with 'Thursday' and 'Lilli Marlene'. Her voice has been compared to Uta Lemper and Astrid Gilberto, but in fact she has a style all her own. Her physical presence informs every song with an extensive background in dance and musical theatre.
