    Korean inlaid celadon bowl. Koryo dynasty (13th century) The wide bowl set on a ring foot, inlaid in white slip on the interior with a central chrysanthemum spray encircled by a ring of rui in turn surrounded by alternating pomegranate and chrysanthemum sprays, a band of foliage under the rim, inlaid in white and black slips on the exterior with a wide band of chrysanthemum medallions and leafy scroll within bands of foliage and stiff leaves, covered overall by a grey-green celadon glaze.
