A pair of silver vases with gilt Iro-e.
The high-shouldered ovid vases, chiseled with rooster, hen and two chicks and autumn grasses. Both engraved signature: Yoshiyuki koku (chiseled by Yoshiyuki)
Both stamped Jungin (pure silver) on bottom.
An original storage wood box with inner cushion for a pair of vases and two fitted wooden bases.
Titled on the top of box cover: Silver vases with autumn grasses and rooster, hen and chicks.
Signed and sealed by Yoshiyuki on the back of the box cover.
Height: 21 cm
Meiji period (late 19th century)
Condition: Generally in good condition, slight dent at the back shoulder area of rooster vase.
