The Northeast Kingdom area of Vermont is beautiful with an easier ride than expected...so rural, there is next to no traffic...foliage...ride by six lakes...It doesnt get much better than this Century ride!
Roger Frey, Earl's Cyclery

Ten thousand years ago, when the last of the glaciers retreated from Vermont, a legacy of rolling hills and deep lakes was left behind. Our corner of Vermont is known as the "Northeast Kingdom", famous for its unspoiled beauty; the last frontier of New England.
Our loops take you through the heart of the Kingdom, past field and forest, lakes amd rivers, towns and villages. We cant predict what stage the foliage will be at on the third Saturday in September, but whether it's just beginning to hint at flaming oranges, gold and reds, at its peak, or in its final fading glory, we can promise it will be beautiful!

All four loops begin and end at Crystal Lake State Park. Crystal Lake was originally called Wsaginebes by the Abenaki who made their summer village here.

The full Century loops to the Canadian border and by eight of our beautiful lakes and ponds. All routes pass Lake Willoughby, the crown jewel of the Kingdom. Join us!
