Application examples

There are many possible applications for EPIS.
Epis card can be plugged into any PC console and any automation system can interface with it as long as it can service an RS232 communication.

Some examples are given below. Those are either existing instalations or at least tested setups in lab conditions.

Console: Unisys 400 600 or 900

EPIS card used:	EPIS 1.3 full screeen mode for remote access

		Emulator: 	ANSI PC 
		Interface:	serial port
		Mapping file: 	supplied by ESPC

A mapping file is required for the extended mode remote keyboard operation. An 8 bit mapping is available in order to send complex keystrokes with Ctrl Alt Shift and F keys.
