Operation.

Power up

Whent the controller is powered up:

-zone is disarmed
-doors are unlocked

To arm controler issue a command "reset fire alarm" from the computer. This will also arm zone.

Fire alarm.

Fire alarm NC contacts should be connected to the first controler (adres 2) . It will broadcast the alarm to the other controlers. It is recomended that PC is left on line at all times but it is not necessary for the fire alrm broadcast. Fire alarm reset switch is also connected to the first unit. All alarms are latched by the controller. Fire alarm can be reset from system status: Fire Alarm Reset. Alarms 1 and 2 can be reset from system status: Alarm Reset

Time & date format

can be changed from Windows > Control Panel > International> Time and Date. The PC software has to be restarted.

Door control:

Doors are unlocked during:

1. door time zone
2. fire alarm
3. for the duration of a few seconds after request to exit is pushed or valid card is read
4. after a request from computer “unlock door”. Doors can be unlocked and locked from system status.

In all other cases doors are locked. If the doors are locked but the door contact remains open then an alarm is activated after a few seconds. That is if the zone is armed.
