1. This sounds too good to be true... what's the catch ?

theWebisFree.com is able to offer free Internet service by placing a small ad bar on your screen. Our Internet ad revenues pay for the service, in the same way that print ads pay for most of the cost of your daily paper.

Unlike newspapers however, our ad banner takes up a very small percentage of space on the page. Undocked, it measures 1" X 6". Docked it measures 3/4" and stretches across the screen.

This docking feature is important, as it lets you position the ad bar completely off your work surface. And unlike other ad bar systems, ours won't slow down your computer - it's very quick.

Do you have to click ads to stay online?. Address.com requires absolutely no clicking. Excite.com will ask you to click every hour or so, though they do offer a much wider distribution of dial-up sites.
