M I C H A E L  S C H U M A C H E R Formula One World Champion   1/6 scale cold-cast bronze bust                This particular piece was actually concieved back in early 1996, just as newly-crowned world-champion Michael Schumacher first appeared in his Ferrari overalls at the launch of the F-310. My initial plan was to sculpt a full-body figure that would be realistically-painted, but somehow that very idea left me unsatisfied.  This cold-cast bronze piece is essentially a derivative of that early project, but properly massaged and refined to a level of presentation I deemed suitable for a four-time world-champion. I have opted to produce these as a limited-edition of 200, and each will be hand-signed and numbered by myself.       Below: photos of the original sculpture, entirely hand-crafted and detailed in Super Sculpey.
