Client:   First Interactive Computer College
Agency: Century Graphics / Mary Eng

Challenge:
New campus startup in downtown Toronto. Develop a summer/fall campaign to attract new student candidates to information seminars. There were two knowledge streams - IT and Business Applications - Multimedia and Graphics Applications.
Design Solution:
Attracting a youth market to very high end and costly career training required strong visual and emotive appeal. Bi-weekly information seminars were set up to provide hands on interaction with the technologies and instructors. Ads were placed in youth oriented community papers and career sections of the dailies. Ads featured instructor bios and their work and also highlighted the school facilities, amoung the best in North America.
Results:
The information seminars were very successful. Quotas for attendance were consistently met and exceeded. Enquiries and follow up visits increased as the campaign progressed. The school developed further advertising and brochure materials based on the seminar creative concepts.
