its fear of nothingness after death, rather
than in fear of pain.  The age old concept of
eternal damnation has certainly not instilled
fear in us; witness hell on Earth.  And it is
that specific fear and confusion over
nothingness that separates adult homo
sapiens from children and all other animals
and plants and rocks and comets . . . and the
entire universe.  For these symmetrical
forms do not question or contemplate the
past or future
and are blessed with eternity
			here and now
