Online Research: MET’s Virtual Library

(March 19, 1998) – Following a year of restructuring, the Ministry of Education and Training’s Online Research unit is providing a wider range of services to MET staff. What was formerly known as MET Library was challenged to design a service that would better meet the ministry’s growing need for timely and accurate information. The result was a blending of traditional functions with cutting-edge technology to provide increased capacity for information retrieval and improved turnaround time.

Ministry staff may borrow books and articles not owned by Online Research and access the collections of other libraries. Staff can now:
