The name Roka was created by Rolf's father who, took the first two letters of Rolf's name and combined the first two letters of his own Karl to produce the name ROKA.

Roka initially was a control repair business conducted after hours in Rolf's basement.  During the day Rolf worked as a Maintenance Manager for a large Injection Molding company in Brampton.  As he gained experience and furthered his education he made the decision to go full time with the added services of Rebuilding machines and Retrofitting with PLC technology.
