October 1999

Dear friends of ACM:

". . . there will be more joy in heaven over one wicked person who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who have no need to repentance" (Luke 15:7, Amplified). What a thought! We believe that lots of joy has been in heaven because of the kids who have found the Lord Jesus in South African schools. We trust our team will never get too familiar with those events that they will lose their significance. That is very possible when you see so many hands raised, and hear so many prayers accepting Jesus each week. Jesus totally believed in the faith of children "who believe in Me, He said (Matthew 18:6). Many decisions for Christ were recorded during the last Annual Rally when young adults from Detroit ministered with our team in South Africa.

Nearer home, we are rejoicing as we have added a number of new donors to our mailing list. Our Chairman and his dear wife Endra had a brain wave! They invited a number of friends and acquaintances to a fund raising dinner, She worked very hard planning it and executing it so efficiently. The guests, who were mainly physicians enjoyed every minute of it. Young people trilled everyone with their sparking performance, including African drums and South African "gum-boots dance"! The generous donations helped boost our bank balance. We thank the Lord.

This brings me to the next important item. Our Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, November 26th. Again at Immanuel Baptist Church on Finch Ave East at Don Mills, 7 p.m. Please find enclosed a special invitation to you and your friends who might be interested in the work of ACM in South Africa. Also an envelope for your response. Or you may phone, fax, or email us at ebensika@interlog.com. Our friend Germaine will again provide great music!

The most important part of the evening will be the presentation of the report on the ministry by Rev. Isaiah Mafu, Founder and General Director of the ministry. He will speak at two new churches and possibly meet with the pastor of a third new church that have shown interest in the ministry. Please pray for Isaiah. He is recovering for a car accident in which he sustained a broken rib and a fractured ankle. See a copy of the hectic schedule of our team in South Africa.

Sincerely;
Ebe Sikakane
