Dear friends of ACM:

Greetings! President Nelson Mandela of South Africa was here last month to raise funds for helping needy children in South Africa. He donates 1/3 of his salary to the fund himself. He sees the need as we see it too. The Christian community has a unique role in this because of the spiritual emphasis they bring. ACM is strategically placed. We are preparing a video that will help our Canadian friends better understand the ministry. We hope that all our friends will get to see it.

This is our final letter before Christmas. Emily & I were talking about our Christmas experience as children. Both of us could not remember one gift given us as children! Some of the children we saw in South Africa earlier this year will not get a gift because their parents simply cannot afford it. We hope that our South Africa team will be able to throw a little "Christmas" party for the kids, and that our Board may be a part of it.

Some anecdotes from South Africa:

We thank the Lord for all who support the ministry. We have been able to support just one teacher. The Canadian Board is considering the possibility of committing itself to supporting a second teacher. Please pray we shall arrive at the right decision. Dr. Norman Musewe is our new Chair, replacing Dr. Hiebert who is now in B.C.

Sincerely;
Ebe Sikakane
