Water
Considered one of life's most vital elements. Without it life is impossible. And yet water pollution, water shortages and wastage are common day problems in much of the world. The lack of water treatment facilities has created a crisis and significant health problem in many countries.* MG Environmental can provide experience and technology to help improve the quality of our most valued resource. Clean Water.
St. Andrews River, Nova Scotia
The St. Andrews River flowing through Stewiacke Nova Scotia noted for "the worst water in small town Canada." The municipality at present is home for 1,250 residents. Now residents enjoy good safe drinking water all the time.

Technology
Right Water is a system for treating wastewater, and potable water for small communities and industrial applications. The technology supporting the product or the base of the system is a dissolved air floatation unit specifically designed for small water volume installations. The system utilizes polyacrimilides and polymers, standard water treatment chemicals and produces output meeting Department of Environment standard for potable and treated water.

RW300 DAF Unit
RW300 DAF Unit purifies 775, 000 litres per day. Higher capacity expected pending on incoming water quality to be treated.
Product
No other water treatment system is designed & marketed specifically for small applications. Available are a full range of products based on the DAF purification system. Right Water was developed in response to the growing demand for equipment that provides better results while occupying less space (6m x 6m), requiring less engineering, lowering maintenance & operating costs. The product is delivered containerized & requires a small amount of assembly. No welding. Stainless Steel construction. Easy to operate.

Turn Key Installations
For complete water quality solutions, the team of companies backing the equipment also offers full product completion services from needs assessment, startup, training, installation, system service and follow-up. MG Environmental has a commitment to low prices and economical on-going operations.

Main Features
The Right Water series of potable & wastewater treatment systems are very easy to install, maintain & operate. The advantage is better treatment at less cost. The Right Water was designed for smaller applications. Daily maintenance & operation of the Right Water takes only one or two hours. A full time operator is not necessary. After installation. adjusting levels & maintaining the system can be performed by existing personnel, trained by the manufacturer and your chemical agent.

Engineering & Maintenance
The Right Water Series of potable and sewage water treatment systems is designed to:

·  reduce engineering costs  ·  reduce installation costs  ·  reduce maintenance costs

The engineering fees for water treatment projects can be significant particularly when systems are technically complicated. The Right Water is a simpler design. MG Environmental designed the Right Water Series to easily be incorporated into each clients' system. Its location and installation can be supervised by you town engineer or physical plant superintendent along with you water quality agent.

The Right Water system is simpler and more effective than another other small-volume water treatment system. In fact, the Right Water is more effective because it is simple. When looking for water treatment solutions small communities, sub-divisions, institutions and industries usually end up with miniaturized versions or large systems. Scaling down a project in this way does not give you the best system or service: it gives the engineers more work.

Potable Water
Every person in the world deserves the right to safe drinking water. The easy-to-install and easy-to-maintain Right Water 180, 300, or 500 series gives this right to people around the world who cannot afford expensive and complicated systems. Normally, the Right Water can offer:

Turbidity: .05 ppm or less NTU
Colour: 3 or less PtCo units
pH: 6.0 -8.0
THM: very low because chlorinating takes place after filtration
Alkalinity & Hardness: varies depending on incoming raw water

Sewage
The Right Water easily handles sewage providing cleaner, safer water to be expelled into the environment. Right Water takes advantage of the naturally occurring phenomenon for sewage waste to rise-not sink. Most other sewage treatment systems use long and complicated methods in an attempt to get suspended solids to settle.

The Right Water's desolved air floatation (DAF) flocculater has been specifically designed to work with tradition water chemistry to encourage and promote rising solids. The tiny air bubbles quickly move suspended solids to the top where a heavy duty scraper skims the scum off the top. Traditional sludge handling facilities can treat the scum. The Right Water 180, 300, or 500 systems can process in four minutes what takes other systems an hour to process. The suspended solids are rising naturally with the assistance of tiny air bubbles instead of being forced to settle to the bottom.

Users of Right Water
Small communities, industries and group developments can make use of the easy-to-maintain and effective Right Water potable or sewage treatment system.

Small Communities: RW180 handles up to 2,500 person community
RW300 handles up to 3,500 person community
RW500 handles up to 5,000 person community

Small Industries: Die-inking plants-Food industry-Slaughter house waste

Primary Components
The primary components for potable or sewage water treatment would include the following (at most)

  • dissolved air floatation unit
  • chemical feed pumps, mixers and containers
  • technical and operating manual
  • gravity flow mixed bed filters
  • holding tank
  • service personnel training

If you existing system is not working properly, requires too much maintenance, or is old and needs to be replaced, it is possible some of the items above can be salvaged and used in your new system. This is the versatility of Right Water's simple design.

Set Up and Installation
Your water quality agent will help you determine what components you will need since you may already have some in your current system. The containerized shipment will arrive complete with all components and spare parts as ordered. The dissolved air floatation unit, the largest component, requires only a small amount of assembly. No welding is required on the main floatation unit.

Your water quality agent will help determine what chemical requirements you need to treat your water. Once you have established the chemistry, your personnel are trained to adjust the levels depending upon varying water conditions.
