DISTENDER SERIES II^TM

The DISTENDER SERIES II^TM dual drive barostat is based on G&J Electronics' proven ISOBAR-3^TM and DISTENDER^TM barostats. There are dual drive barostats in operation in Australia, Canada, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States. This instrument features a main controller unit and reservoir as well as an optional external universal reservoir unit.

Truly Standalone

All G&J Electronics' instruments are designed with flexibility and expandability in mind. The built-in intelligent processing unit, analog pressure and volume chart recorder outputs, bright 40 character display and remote keypad, enable all barostat models to be 100% standalone for standard barostat functions. With our Golden Gate^TM optically isolated transducer interface, it is possible to interface the barostat's pressure and volume output signals directly with the solid state transducer inputs of your manometry system.

Sensory Function Testing

When combined with a Perception Panel^TM and the Windows/Win95 version of G&J Electronics' Protocol Plus^TM universal distension program, the DISTENDER SERIES II^TM becomes a powerful tool for sensory function testing. Protocol Plus^TM has built-in protocol generators and a post experiment waveform viewer.

Reliability

Perhaps the most important aspect of G&J Electronics products is our perfect performance record on all of our production models of barostats. Reliability is extremely important to our corporate clients. We have never had a production model returned for service. All instruments are covered by a 2 year worldwide warranty.
