Grahms Gardens Rainbarrels
It is becoming increasing important to utilize your environment to its fullest. Just think of all the water that falls on your roof, runs through your eaves troughs, downspouts, and into the ground. Say your house is 30 feet by 60 feet, with just 1 inch of rainfall, you'd get 150 cubic feet of water. Thats over 4,247 litres! Its easy to capture this water.
The Grahms Gardens rainbarrel comes with a spigot at
the bottom and an overflow hose at the top. It is ready to take
the water from your eaves trough and send any overflow back into
the downspout.
The top of the rainbarrel is either enclosed, or
covered with mosquito netting. It is important that there is no place for
standing water in which mosquitos can lay their eggs. West
Nile Virus Proof!
The
rainbarrel can be mounted on cement blocks or, on a stand to let
gravity provide the water pressure. Just hook up your garden hose
to the spigot.
A
neat feature of the Grahms Gardens Rainbarrel is the level
indicator. This simple but effect device lets you know the water
level in the barrel at a glance. Youll love this once you
start using your rainbarrel to water your gardens.
More than one Grahms Gardens Rainbarrels can be
interconnected, which, in effect, creates one larger rainbarrel.
Each rainbarrel in the series can be isolated via a cutoff valve
between the barrel and the interconnecting pipe. Supporting
structures at 5 feet maximum made of pressure treated wood are
readily available for series of barrels numbering 1, 2 or 4.
The feature that sets the Grahms Gardens Rainbarrels apart is the decorative paintings that adorn each and every barrel. You can choose a barrel that is readily available, or discuss a custom painting. In either case, your Grahms Gardens Rainbarrel will set you apart from your neighbours. Not only will you be helping the environment and saving money, but you are going to look good doing it.
