If you have seen "Sleepless in Sayans", you most probably have a close idea of how these two late bloomers met. Just to recap, Edmund started calling Edna after a bit of convincing from Paulo Dimaano. T'was summer of 1995. They met in Manila on February 14, 1997. Edna was smitten.

They met again in Hongkong a few weeks later, and in Toronto a few more weeks later.

Edmund proposed to her on May 6, 1997. And the wedding became inevitable.
